The Revelation Room

Without a doubt, we are living in end times and are on a fast track to Yeshua’s return. Multiple scriptures talk about His return.

· Look, I will tell you a secret – not all of us will die! But we will all be changed! It will take but a moment, the blink of an eye, at the final shofar. For the Shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised to live forever, and we too will be changed. For this material which can decay must be clothed with imperishability, this which is mortal must be clothed with immortality. When what decays puts on imperishability and what is mortal puts on immortality, then this passage in the Tanakh will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”[i]Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?[ii]” 1 Corinthians 15:51-55

· For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

· Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; and they didn’t know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes. There will be two men in a field – one will be taken and the other left behind. There will be two women griding flour at the mill – one will be taken and the other left behind. So, stay alert, because you don’t know on what day your Lord will come. But you do know this: had the oner of the house known when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting him. Matthew 24:38-44

The great commission is all about sharing the Gospel, the Good News, to reach as many people as possible with the message of salvation before this day comes. But what happens next? Have we prepared anything to reach those left behind with the Gospel? Have we made any plans to put out one last call for those left after the shofar sounds?

I have already reached out to my children, that if they should be left behind, God forbid, where all my resources are located. All my bibles and lexicons, all my books by Messianic Rabbis and Christian authors, and I am putting together a letter as well with references in the Word as to what is coming. But what about others? Where are they going to turn when the chaos that will ensue after the rapture hits the world? Simple; they will flood the church buildings.

While we each should have something in place for friends and family to easily find, our churches should also have resources available as well. Our churches need “Revelation Rooms”; a room that is specifically created for those who are left behind filled with recorded and written messages, DVD’s and sermons on the Gospels, Daniel, and Revelation. Bibles with already highlighted verses about how to stand in the time of Jacob’s Trouble, and most importantly, the plan of salvation. Our churches need to be prepared to feed the sheep that will be fighting the hardest fight and living in the darkest time known to man. They will have to choose between the King of Kings, or the Antichrist. They will have to choose to stand and live for Yeshua, and possibly lose their life for it, or bend their knee to the beast system and be lost.

We as servants of Messiah must look past the rapture and take our ministry past that point in the now. NOW we need to be sowing the gospel into those left. NOW we need to be thinking of them, because once we are no longer here, our focus will be on God and God alone. NOW we need to be doing the work for the future. NOW we need to be setting up Revelation Rooms in our homes, in our churches, in our outreaches. NOW we need to be paying the Gospel forward. There is only NOW in Messiah and while we are doing the work for the present, we must also do the work for the future in the now!

Moreover, dear friends, do not ignore this: with the Lord, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day.[iii] The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient with you; for it is not his purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins However, the Day of the Lord will come “like a thief”. 2 Peter 3:8-9

If it is His desire that none should perish, then how can we not be burdened with that same desire and do all that we can while we are still here? As Yeshua talked about being about His Father’s business, so must we. If He did all He could during His time here on earth, so should we. Not all will be ready, be we can make the way ready for those who are not, for those who are left, so that they may be saved.

[i] Isaiah 25:8 [ii] Hosea 13:14 [iii] Psalm 90:4
